Allahumma innaka 'Afuwwun, tuhibbul 'afwa, fa'fu 'anni.

O Allah, You are the Pardoner. You love to pardon. So pardon me.

HadithNarrator: Aisha (RA)

Aisha (RA) said: "I asked, 'O Messenger of Allah, if I find out which night is Laylat-ul Qadr, what should I say?'

Sunan Tirmidhi: 3513, Sunan Ibn Majah: 3850 (Sahih)

🌟 Why This Dua Is So Powerful

This dua uses one of Allah's beautiful names — Al-Afuww (العفو), which means the One who pardons. The word 'Afw' does not just mean forgiveness — it means to completely erase and wipe away the sin. When Allah grants 'Afw', He forgives the sin, erases its record, and will not bring it up to embarrass you on the Day of Judgment. Recite this dua as much as you can on the Night of Power. It is short, easy to memorize, but carries an incredibly deep meaning.
