Sayyiduna Mustawrid رضي الله عنه narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said, "He who backbites a Muslim (accusing him of wrongdoing) and eats a morsel thereafter, surely Allah will make him eat as much of hell-fire. He who clothes someone to disgrace a Muslim, Allah will clothe him as much of hell-fire. He who gets up to brag and show off, Allah will stand on the day of resurrection to make him hear and see."
