وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ: «إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْحَسَدَ فَإِنَّ الْحَسَدَ يَأْكُلُ الْحَسَنَاتِ كَمَا تَأْكُلُ النَّارُ الْحَطَبَ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه narrated that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “Keep away from jealousy. Indeed, jealousy devours piety just as fire devours wood.” [2]
