MERIT OF LOVING OR DISLIKING FOR THE SAKE OF ALLAH

وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «مَا أَحَبَّ عَبْدٌ عَبْدًا لِلَّهِ إِلَّا أَكْرَمَ رَبَّهُ ﷿» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمد
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah رضي الله عنه narrated that Allah's Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "No person loves another for the sake of Allah but he truly glorifies and extols his Lord, Mighty And Glorious." [1]
