MATERNAL AUNT IS LIKE MOTHER

Sayyiduna Ibn Umar رضي الله عنه narrated that a man came to the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم and submitted. "O Messenger of Allah, I have committed a grave sin. Do I have a way to repent?" He asked, "Do you have a mother?" He said, "No" Then he asked, "Do you have a maternal aunt?" He said, "Yes!" He said, "Give her kind treatment." [2]
