ALLAH'S PLEASURE LIES IN THE PARENT'S PLEASURE

وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «رَضِيَ الربِّ فِي رضى الْوَالِدِ وَسُخْطُ الرَّبِّ فِي سُخْطِ الْوَالِدِ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Amr رضي الله عنه narrated that Allah's Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "The pleasure of the Lord lies in the pleasure of the father (and mother, meaning parents) and the displeasure of the Lord in the displeasure of the father." [3]
