DO NOT REJOICE AT ANOTHER'S PLIGHT

وَعَن وَاثِلَة قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «لَا تظهر الشماتة لأخيك فِي C وَيَبْتَلِيَكَ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ
Sayyiduna Wathilah رضي الله عنه narrated that Allah's Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "Do not display pleasure at your (Muslim) brother's distress (even if the two of you are in disagreement) lest Allah have mercy on him and involve you in the distress." [2]
