CARESSING CHILDREN

Mishkat al-MasabihHadith Number 4678
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَبْلَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ وَعِنْدَهُ الْأَقْرَعُ بْنُ حَابِسٍ. فَقَالَ الْأَقْرَعُ: إِنَّ لِي عَشَرَةً مِنَ الْوَلَدِ مَا قَبَّلْتُ مِنْهُمْ أَحَدًا فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ثُمَّ قَالَ: «مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمْ لَا يُرْحَمْ» مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ وَسَنَذْكُرُ حَدِيثَ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ: «أَثَمَّ لُكَعُ» فِي «بَابِ مَنَاقِبِ أَهْلِ بَيْتِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ» إِنْ شَاءَ تَعَالَى وَذَكَرَ حَدِيثَ أمِّ هَانِئ فِي «بَاب الْأمان»
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه narrated that Allah's Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم kissed (Sayyiduna) Hasan ibn Ali رضي الله عنه. (Sayyiduna) Aqra' ibn Habis رضي الله عنه who was there (at the time) remarked, "I have ten children, but I have never kissed any of them." Allah's Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم looked at him and said, "He who does not display kindness is not shown kindness." [2] We shall present Abu Hurayrah's رضي الله عنه (الم لكح) at # 6143, Insha Allah And the hadith of Sayyidah Umm Hani رضي الله عنها has been narrated that at # 3977.
