Al-Adab Al-MufradHadith Number 905
حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ صُهْبَانَ الأَزْدِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ الْمُزَنِيِّ قَالَ: نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ الْخَذْفِ، وَقَالَ: إِنَّهُ لاَ يَقْتُلُ الصَّيْدَ، وَلاَ يُنْكِي الْعَدُوَّ، وَإِنَّهُ يَفْقَأُ الْعَيْنَ، وَيَكْسِرُ السِّنَّ.
Abdullah ibn Mughaffal al-Muzani said, "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade slings. He said, 'They do not kill game nor injure the enemy. They gouge the eye and break the teeth.'"
